I intentionally posted the video "There Are No Orphans" for my first posting. First things first, I'm Christie and I'm a follower of Jesus. Sadly I must say even after growing up in a Minister's home I have not always followed Him, mostly because I thought I new best and I've carried the consequences of those decisions all of my adult life. I will always speak from my heart but advice will mostly be practical. I just needed you to know where I'm coming from.
This song reminded me that there are no orphans, outcasts or strangers to God. So whatever situation has brought you where you are today, you are not alone, there are a lot of us out there and we are not outcasts. I love you already even though I haven't met you yet and so does God. As a single Mom myself with little help from my ex I raised my son alone, while also dealing with overwhelming medical problems. Trust me you can do it and do it well. My son is 17 now and beginning to prepare for his next step in life. But we learned a lot together, even through the mistakes. I've also had lots of single parent friends who taught me both good and bad. I'm going to do my best to share that knowledge with you in many ways, practical as well as mental and emotional. I'M HERE FOR YOU!!! BE STRONG and as a friend of mine always says "NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU'VE DONE.........GOD LOVES YOU!" You are not an orphan or an outcast, no matter what mistakes you've made God loves you and so do. May God richly bless you this week! Christie
